I love watching movies and TV shows.
after long day just putting on a show and relaxing is so nice :)

I wanted to have my own little "media hub" that looks nice. simple and minimal, but with useful features like auto-detection for metadata and loading thumbnails, banners and info via IMDB, a nice UI for the actual player with some subtitle features..etc
I originally made Jellyhub, but then I realized there's no need for a whole server or even Jellyfin.. all you need is storage. wether it's iCloud, Proton drive, your own hosted Nextcloud, or a simple SMB setup, all you gotta do is choose it as the movies or TV shows folder, and glassery does the magic.
it properly recognizes metadata, loads it and displays it in a nice GUI it even automatically fakes a read action to pre-download the next episode for you so you don't wait in-between.
it's just a nice little GUI I whipped up in a day or two to make the watching experience that much better, and I love it.
